Sorry, this event is not available.
This event was available from Sunday, December 23, 2018 12:00 AM until the event start date.
Dates: Wednesday, March 6th 2019 - Sunday, March 10th 2019
Location: Casa Immaculata Retreat House in Nathrop, CO
(2.5hr drive from Denver International Airport, 2hr drive from Colorado Springs)
Spots Available: 11 total and going fast!
The retreat will start at 6pm on Wednesday March 6th with dinner, Mass and prayer. Each day will include talks on the theme inspired by Saint John Paul II's writing Guardian of the Redeemer, focusing on how we are called to form a bridge between the world of faith and the world of business. In addition, we will have daily Mass, adoration, opportunities for confession/spiritual direction, fellowship, and outdoor adventure such as hiking, snow shoeing and hot springs.
We will be staying at Casa Immaculata, situated along the Colorado Trail and in the area of Colorado with the highest concentration of 14'ers in the state. This tranquil location is ideal for our 2019 Men's Mountain Retreat. All meals from Wednesday dinner through Saturday lunch are included in the registration cost. Gear and packing lists will be sent out once registration is complete.
As mentioned, outdoor adventures make up a large part of this retreat. All men attending over the age of 40 are asked to complete a physical examination by a doctor. If we are able, the goal is to summit a local 14er. This will be very physically demanding and is not for the faint of heart. Expect around 9-12 miles round trip and about 4,500 elevation gain in very difficult terrain - snow/ice. You must be in fit physical condition to join us on the retreat and a pre-registration interview is required.
If you are interested in attending, please email Paul at firstname.lastname@example.org to set-up a time to talk.
New this year is our involvement in Father Nathan's initiative called the Faith and Leadership Consortium. This is important to note because the cost of the retreat is $1,200, which in addition to the retreat, includes membership to the Faith & Leadership Consortium and helps support the work that Father Nathan is doing (our goal is to give as much of the registration cost as possible to Father). If you wish to sponsor another man to come who cannot afford the retreat, please let Paul know.
